Thanksgiving

Updated: Nov 21, 2024

As we enter the holiday season I want to take a moment to be thankful for

Tress blowing in the wind
  • My friends who have managed to bring a refreshing light in my life

  • My family, who despite being infuriating at times, always making sure I am putting my best foot forward

  • My mom who always made me remember to look on the bright side despite her worries

  • My dad who have always managed to make sure I was happy

Below are some of my personal favorites I have shot during this semester

Plaque for Distance Learning

On the right is one of the first photos I have captured in Digital Photography class.

This image shows the plaque of 2021 students who managed to keep learning despite the difficulties during Covid.

I picked this as one of my favorite images as it is one that motivates me to continue to work hard at being the best student I can possibly be.

Jeylin Quinonez looking of ahead

On the left is one of the most recent photos I have shot during my time in Digital Photography class.

This image captures Jeylin Quinonez looking off at something or somewhere in the distance while sitting down.

I have selected this image as one of my personal favorites due to the action of viewpoint where it is looking down on the subject.

I also highly like the personal feeling the image depicts as the subject is looking ahead while contemplating something on their mind.

I feel this captures the overall feeling most have felt during this time of the semester where most often feel lost.

Despite the solemn sentiment, this image has pushed me into believing that we can overcome this weariness and uplift our spirits into the best version of ourselves.

Overall, this year has been super eye-opening yet tough. I continue to hope to become the best version of myself and to always bring a light into everyone's life despite the difficult situations the future will bring.
